Weekend lunch in Waco

This, kids, is what happens when an adult-kid takes his kid to see the grandparents for a fun weekend lunch in Waco on a Saturday.

Oh who are we kidding!? Its hereditary.

Emma took her daddy up to Waco to see her grandparents, have some lunch, and a stroll about the mall (photographic evidence included).

(Look up here Emma) This, while mommy was away in Corpus for a girls weekend.

We'll see whether or not she feels safe about letting that happen again......

Beach Baby

This last weekend was the family trip to Corpus Christi ,TX for the condo. The family has gotten the use of a condo unit every year since forever and this year Emma met up with her cousins for some fun in the sun.

Before daddy showed up she even had a chance to go see the turtles and dolphins at the Texas State Aquarium

The House!

It has been a while and Emma has requested that we start talking about her more.
Specifically she would like everyone to know that she and her family have finally completed the move to the new house!

Its been a grueling four months, but as of a few weeks ago we closed on the newly constructed Byrd house. Starting in February we contracted with Gehan to construct the house you see below and closed in mid June. We couldn't be happier.........until we found out that we could:

We had some serious experts get involved with getting the house from looking new to looking awesome. Those experts would be Billie Byrd and Betty Banks.

Over the course of four days the dynamic duo swept through the house and made HGTV look like amateurs.
